I do like the curved edges and curved glass, feels very good in the hand, especially compared to the 5. |

I ended up picking up the 6 instead of the 6+ yesterday. The plus ended up being way to big for my liking. The 6 is the perfect size

Ordered a 64gb 6 today...the size of the 6+ was a total deal breaker for me even though the features are better. It's so big it's embarrassing to use IMO.

Anyone noticing apps crashing more frequently on iOS 8? Especially the bimmerpost app.

Yeah, the bimmerpost app crashes a lot on iOS8. Many of my apps had updates to make them compatible with iOS8. The bimmerpost app was always a little flakey and now it is getting kicked off the island I think.

Although the 6 is big, it's not too big...unless you got baby girl hands.

In part it's because devs were basically told "oh, the apps will work with iOS8 and you don't need to do anything unless you want to make use of the new features" and what was discovered in beta was that this wasn't anywhere near true. Now people are scrambling to make their apps work as well as they can until they are able to have a full blown update.
The 6 is basically the size of every other smart phone on the market on the android and win phone side of things. Something around a 5in screen has become the "go to" so to speak. The 6+ is actually kind of funny to see people holding to their heads; same goes for the note and other phablets. |

People are bending their iPhone 6 plus, with phone in pocket and seated for prolonged times.

EDIT: I bet the Otterbox Commuter Series case I've always had and always will have on my cell phones (even my Androids) will prevent this. My 5s is flat, no issues...so was my 5...and my previous HTC EVO 4G LTE...and my Galaxy S2 Skyrocket. |

why anyone would accept a brand new phone that bends in your pocket is beyond me (the I'll get a hard case so hopefully that won't happen). My iPad has iOS 8 and I wish my co. gave me a choice I would have gotten a Samsung. I know, first world problems. We learned in B school that Mary Kay asked when was the last time your co. gave you a Cadillac (when criticized on the pink color)

I'm sure apple will come up with a solution for this problem. I can see it now, "introducing the ipants, specifically designed to carry your iPhone 6 plus without damaging it! It will be available starting at $499 for the 2 pocket model and $699 for the 3 pocket model!"
