In the engine bay sits a highly capable 3.0L Supercharged V6 while under the body lies Audi’s legendary quattro all-wheel drive system that traces its roots back to the intense rally group races of the 1980’s. Before the original Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class existed, the word “coupe” was reserved for vehicles that had strictly two doors. The Germans decided that they didn’t want to abide by these rules so they threw that definition right out the window and labeled their CLS the world’s first “four door coupe”. For better or for worse the car spawned countless other competitors but none as striking as that W219-generation CLS with its raked roofline. Mercedes followed up on that success by adding a little more muscle in the form of the CLS63 S AMG for its second generation platform. On this application, we went with the subdued look of the ADV10 Track Spec custom forged wheel finished in a Matte/Gloss Gunmetal combo for the center and lips to not take away from the AMG’s powerful look. This “coupe” is a testament that sometimes it pays off to break some of the rules.

Back again with another legendary Range Rover, the Wheels Boutique team partnered up with ADV.1 Wheels to produce this luxury ute carrying a presence all its own. Packed under the premium SUV are a set of gorgeous ADV.1 Deep Concave custom forged wheels coming in at 24”x11” all around. And as if that wasn’t enough, our boys at Driving Emotions outfit this bad boy with a full Startech exterior kit. The ADV10R design plays off the trendy directional pattern that’s so popular in the market today and gives this otherwise ordinary Range a nice little twist. This particular Land Rover may not see much gravel time, but it will most certainly conquer the opinions of those surrounding it on the city streets.

Earlier this week we got our hands on a 911 Carrera and wanted to see what we could do with the narrow-bodied 991. A premium spec’d forged monoblock ADV.1 wheel was in order and a Gloss Gunmetal ADV05 design was the clear choice. These base model Porsche’s don’t get as much attention as its bigger brothers but we always give our full love to whatever rolls through the shop.

Back in simpler times, the original E24 6 Series was the only grand tourer offered by BMW in their entire model lineup. It was later replaced by the 8 series and went on a 16 year hiatus before finally returning in the early 2000’s. The current generation 6 series added a new body style to the mix in the form of a four door sedan, or as the Bavarian’s call it, a “Gran Coupe”. Many have commented that this is what the new 7 series should have been all along but no matter what badge designation is applied to the boot, we’re just happy it’s here. The M6 GC here uses multi-spoke HRE RS103’s that pays a small homage to Alpina versioned BMW’s but with the added flare of a Polished Red Lip to set itself apart from all the other fish. This lengthy shark is beginning to smell some blood in the water.

There are some things in life that must be allowed to age over time before true appreciation can develop. Over a decade ago, two behemoths in the automotive industry came together to produce a vehicle that is now widely considered a classic. An absolute monster dressed up in a German tuxedo, the SLR was a stunning result of the legendary McLaren Racing Team working hand-in-hand with the boys at Mercedes-Benz. They single-handedly created the first super grand tourer and to this day, the SLR - with its hand-built supercharged V8 engine producing 617 horsepower - still puts more modern supercars to shame.

What’s going on at the shop you ask? Oh nothing, just in the process of installing the full onslaught of Novara Aerokit pieces from Vorsteiner. We have a deadline to meet this Sunday for the Festivals of Speed in Orlando so we have been working around the clock on this one. Once completed, it will become the first production Novara Huracan in the world.

Take a look at the completely overhauled front fascia accompanied by a carbon fiber splitter, carbon fiber ventilated front fenders, carbon fiber side skirts, extremely bold rear diffuser, and carbon fiber wing with aerospace-grade aluminum uprights. Carbon Fiber Everythang!

Part 2 of today’s build update is none other than the installation of the iPE Innotech Performance Exhaust system. The full T304 Stainless Steel X-pipe and valvetronic muffler will allow the Team WB Huracan to scream with an F1 sound when we want it, and pur quietly by closing the valves when we don’t. Horsepower & Torque is increased, Weight is reduced, and sound is taken to another level. A win-win-win in our book.

Now in its 5th generation, the BMW M5 may no longer be the sleeper that it once was, but with more refinement and over 550 horses who cares?! The reputation preceding it makes many-a-sports car owner think twice before trying this executive saloon. This particular Alpine White F10 matches beautifully to the Carbon Graphite finish on these 21” Vorsteiner V-FF 103 Flow Forged Wheels.
