Not a big fan of dogs after I was attacked by one in a friends home, sending me to the emergency room and leaving me a nice life-long scar on my chest.

Imagine a rabid animal running at you full speed, jumping onto your chest, and having its teeth pull at the flesh while it hangs there for 5 seconds.

This is our German Sheperd, Caida. She was a Hurricane Katrina dog found on a job site under a junk car weighing in at 38 lbs. Three years later she's happy and whopping 90 lbs.

I'ev been bitten a few times at work. The worst bite I took was a freakin bassett hound. Turned my back and chomp. Throught the boot and into the skin. Was just protecting his owner.

Dogs are like people. Some are cool and others are not. Just remember, dogs are a product of their pack. Sometimes we threaten that pack when we enter their world and have to pay the piper.

Also, chicks dig scars (if this isn't true, shut it... it'll ruin my entire outlook on life). AND the guy with the most scars wins.

It must have been a Super Bassett. I don't know if this breed could jump on it's blanky.

He was just a mutt like his Mother. We found his Mom in June 2007. She was a FAT dog that was a stray running around the neighborhood. One day she looked so thin. We knew there were puppies somewhere. Sure enough under our boat in the backyard of my Mom's house was 7 puppies newborn. Two were dead but the other five alive and thriving. We buried the dead puppies and raised all the other and named the Momma June. When the puppies were 2 months we gave three away to local friends and kept one male (Sprocket) and one female puppy as well as June. They were the best dogs ever. June we lost in December of last year. Sprocket we lost yeseterday. Now all we have is Ellie May. I pray to God that we dont lose her....My Mom will never be the same if she loses all three.

That's awesome that yall rescued those dogs. They are cute as hell.

I bet. A few years back when I thought I was gonna get an apt on my own (without a roomate) I was going to get a little dog. A few girls told me that guys with small dogs will attract way more girls than with big dogs. I never got a dog so I don't know how true, but by your words I'd say it is.

Ugh, I hate Basset hounds. A friend of mine has two. Not only do they start howling as soon as the sun comes up, they drool and smell like crap. Even after a fresh bath.

Glad to see so many Doberman's. Love those dogs.
