Picked up a bottle of Plantation Pineapple rum and it's excellent. Mixed with a little pineapple juice over ice for a refreshing and easy drink. My wife just made lemon poppyseed muffins and mixed some of this rum into the sugar glaze she brushed on the top. Outstanding!

10 years in ex bourbon cask and 1 year in an Ardbeg cask. Awesome sweet Smokey rum at cask strength (62.4%)

I'd say it's probably the most complex of all the Rums I own maybe beside my Don Pancho 18. It's absolutely smooth. Not overly sweet. Just enough spice.

Catch of the Day. Vanilla and banana like a Bumbu but not as smooth however it's half the price.

Based on this thread got me some Plantation Grande Reserva, Diplomatico and Plantation Special Dry. Call me a heathen but the cheapest one seems to be the best sipper.

You're welcome. I'm having some right now. The numbers are interesting. I hadn't noticed them but upon checking my bottle mine is 22/002. I'll try to remember to ask the vendor at the market what they stand for.
