No, but tbh, that's a worrying fault and possibly not caused by a software update.
Can I assume that the auto hold just switches off on its own and causes the car to suddenly creep forward/backwards? I can only turn it off on my X1 when the car is stationary and I have my foot on the brake pedal. Could there be a fault with your console switch? Or is it a known fault?

I downloaded the update and now the app is stuck on ‘update paused by BMW’. I’ve driven a few times and seems it’s stuck or perhaps BMW isn’t the car in this case but the company?

First time seeing this after a few successful updates.

In Germany.

I had mine a few months ago, no issues except it turns off the auto handbrake, you need to change this in the settings.

I’ve experienced no issues with the 11/2024 ID9 update with exception of the Personal Assistant voice I had been using had to be download/installed again. The same thing occurred when I updated to 7/2024. Took just a few minutes, so not a big deal.

I don't have .40 yet, still on .30 but had the same issue with mine yesterday. I think maybe deep sleep kicked in, I even tried starting manually ~ but remote start still wouldn't work. I touched the tailgate button to deactivate and then it worked.

Did you make sure you enabled remote start after the update? I've found that when either of my BMWs updates, it turns this off and I have to go back in and re-enable. For example, my X3 just went to 11/2024 and I had to turn remote start back on. My X1 has been stuck trying to update to 11/2024 for over a month now - apparently I don't drive the car enough to charge the starter to the required level.

Just a thought...

PORTION OF MY POST FROM December 15th — …. Turned out after about an hour charging at 8 amps the starter battery the installation step went through. Update must take alot of current to install because a lot of users are getting the same notification about low starter battery 🪫condition.

Try it I bet your install will go through after changing.
