Took lots of photos today. This was the funniest. I have the long shot and a zoom in. Wish I could post the iPhone Live Photo that gets the reaction but you get the idea.

I actually mouthed “busted” to him.

Oh jeez looking at it again the lady in the pink trousers might have thought I was talking to her.

My son Aston and I were walking along and I sensed there was a group of people behind in a hurry. I heard some muttering in a German accent and I said to him to move to the left.

Hopefully this is the only time this season said German overtakes an “Aston”.

Fairly decent spot for watching the race, helped by the proximity of beer. After P1 and P2 I’m none the wiser about anything other than I think Williams are going to have a much better season.

At least that's how I felt when I saw those clips in '92 or '93 of that Williams car moving on it's own on that testjig (FW14/FW15).
Some of the best designers ever in F1 worked on that car (Patrick Head and even back then: Adrian Newey, hard to believe he's had a career that long at the top of his field)
For people who started watching F1 in this millenium it's probably hard to imagine where Williams once was.

Couldn’t agree more - it seems as though we always have seemingly invincible teams and then one year, suddenly things shift.

Very excited for today snd Sunday.

A bit harder to get a proper gauge on the pecking order due to the pre season testing and 1st GP venue being completely different.

I do sense that Aston are playing a little coy, and feel they will spring a little surprise the first half of the season at least.

Whether it will be realized in Australia is up in the air, but Alonso can handle himself in the rain so there’s no telling what that wily fox has up his sleeve 😎

Charlie with one arm and one leg , can still beat LEW.

Just tuned in...I see that LAW didn't make Q2?
Same for ANT?

Interesting fight between NOR and PIA.
Obviously PIA wants to win his home GP, but there's also the fight between who becomes driver 1 and who driver 2 later in the year (when the hard decisions have to be made....)
