Nice choice, you made a nice move from the Sub to that. Those Zenith movements are pretty cool and a PAM on a bracelet is pretty rare and of course it's easy to wear it on a strap whenever you prefer. I really like the chrono pushers on that model LUM too. Well done.

My daily just served it's first race duty. 2.5 hour race stint, 6 hours on track total, 1.5 weeks worth of running only down 9.5 seconds.
It's now getting a break for the weekend. The Phantom will be getting the duty. As for wearing, the chrono's are thicker and heavier then the non chronos Once I got used to the BR03 chrono, the BR01-92 was nothing. Last edited by Elwood74; 04-12-2013 at 08:50 PM.. |

Can I play too?
I like my objects reasonably understated. The watch isn't gigantic on my wrist like a lot of the ones I've seen in this thread. It's very teutonic - it does the job it was engineered to to, without flashiness or gaudiness. The knife is exactly the same. If you know what you're looking at then you'll appreciate them just that little more. I'm not saying I don't appreciate those other watches - they're beautiful and functional, with some amazing engineering behind them. They're just not for me - I wear boots to the office. |

Originally I was liking the big watches, but after getting my Submariner, I knew that was as big as I wanted to go. That's why I got my new 40mm Panerai, it fits my wrist perfectly, not too big, not too small.
I have a sweet knife, a Todd Begg designs Bodega, just a tad too big for daily pocket wearing, but I still wear it most of the time. |

I need 3 more really nice folders (possibly with assisted open) for a true knife of the day for each day of the week. |

Not as fancy as some of yours, but it gets the job done. It's my daily. I've had it for 6 years now and it's still going strong, though a bit beat up.

The lume, the font, the hour/minute hands, the crown... everything is obvious to someone who knows Panerai well enough.
