Nice. Do you have insulated garage walls/ceiling and doors? I was planning to do the same, so I insulated the garage when we built, but doors are “standard.”

Curious of run time and overall efficiency.

Thanks and yes. Everything is insulated and doors are as tight as they can be. It’s a garage so I know I’ll lose some, but This unit will be way more efficient than my portable I had in there which wasn’t awful. Was 86 and got to 76 in about an hour with a warm car in there. It’s still new so I’m still learning it.

Love it. I’ve seen some garage rails that are almost “zigzagged” to suck the door tight. Do you have actual insulated doors or the panels that slide in to insulate? I’m looking to do the latter, but am skeptical. Garage doors face the west, so they get cooked in the summer despite the tree coverage.

Get a mini-split with a heat pump, so it is also useful in the winter.....

For sure. A toasty garage in winter is always good.

I have hardi siding wood doors and they’re insulated. And the suck pretty tight to the rails. For a garage I know it won’t be super air tight. And the panel kits do help, had them on my old doors. Pretty significant temperature difference, especially in the rooms over the garage.

Ya. I heard that too and you can, for triple the price I paid for this system. Not exaggerating either. This is a reputable enough brand, good warranty; 5 years, and it’s for a garage. If it breaks I can buy 3 more for the cost of the Mitsubishi.

If it were for my home, I’d maybe go that route. But mini splits are mainly made by midea or use those parts. I know people with this brand and have been happy with the long term performance.

But ya, Daiken and Mitsubishi are the mini split “leaders”

Thought I'd share these outstanding LED Indoor Floodlights with you all who may be looking to replace your old, dull, warm white ones. These are 4000k and aren't that blueish xenon type color. More of a pure white that really brightens up our kitchen!

I've had people wait for me to come out of a store to tell me how much they like it. I've seen people hanging out their car window at 120kph trying to get a photo of it. It is a bit subtle for the most part but he ( I call him Ernie ) really jumps out at you on a bright sunny day.
That's creative and creepy AF!

I've been curious about these. How about doing a little review once you've used it a bit?

My gaming laptop which I’ve had for a couple years now died and was always giving me issues. Decided to get a gaming desktop. Night and day difference. I have always built my previous gaming PCs but didn’t feel like doing that so I bought a pre-built Cyberpower.

I had something similar, also. There are all sorts of gizmos on Amazon to clean records. Some are very expensive, no thanks. I went cheap and good reviews.
