Reason #1: We visit Wifey's relatives in MI every so often. Their home wifi uses the same subnet as my home wifi. Ages ago when I set up our home network, I was lazy/not-too-bright and left the default 192.168.1.x setup in place. Now I have a bunch of devices with IPs in that range, so changing it now would be a pain. The problem is when I'm on an outside network with that IP range, I can't use my VPN because both ends of a VPN tunnel can't be using the same IP range. I've run into the same issue with some hotel networks. This device will connect to an existing wifi and then use a different subnet for devices connected to it. So my VPN will (should) then work.

Reason #2: I'm a retired IT geek who likes playing with new toys.

(Maybe those reasons should be in the reverse order.)

She just got a shot of cortisone in the hip joint so that pain is gone for now. Surgery is in the card.

I had to get those side steps for the wife`s X5 M-Sport because of her height (5ft 3 inches ), and because of her knees condition.

I had to get them from Germany because I could not not find them locally.

From the inside, it look factory. I don't know anybody that could see both sides at the same time unless they use mirrors

I saw that video. I have a set of CX+ Senns that I loved (also have a great set of over ear and those are my 3rd set in 40 years) and I wanted the new-er ones co I can go with the loss of some of those features for fidelity. If I wanted features it would have been Apple.
