Evs were the slowest but now are the fastest depreciating things around and come lease end time there's going to be some pain as many 10000s of generic teslas will flood the market bringing down the price of all of them. This is in addition to the musk effect of cutting the price of them.

Green party support is needed to function and they get their moneys worth by sticking to ice ban policies and converting 2 lane traffic to 1 lane cars 1 lane cycling and frustrating drivers and increasing pollution due to tailbacks but other parties have to work with them to form a government so their lunacy has to be accepted. Unlike the rep v dem in us or con v lab in UK(this is why uk is especially effed because they don't need green support to function but still act weird and in a non practical way ) |

You park your EV in your garage for the night, plug it in and turn in for the night, then you're awakened by your garage ablaze and collapsing and thank goodness the garage is detached from the house...or is it, I'm not scaremongering but is it not something worth thinking about before purchasing an EV?

'EV Battery packs have been known to catch fire through overheating and while being charged. *More worryingly battery fire can erupt spontaneously, contamination of just a single cell during manufacture is one possible explanation'. A gas car is very unlikely to catch fire in your garage unless you can smell gas from a fuel leak so you wouldn't then put it in the garage with a hot engine. I generally thought people from your side detested that word. I know I do. You seem to be continually aggravated by people that have the audacity to think differently than you do. Now I know for sure you’re a millennial.

With firefighting methods, the only thing that can be done with a Lithium EV battery fire is to let it burn itself out and hopefully contain the fire. Very different from what can be done with a gasoline induced fire. |

The only thing I’m aggravated with is your sides worship of government, forcing this on the people. Without that forcing electric vehicles would be nothing more than a novelty item that wealthy people would buy for fun. I must freely admit that does aggravate me. You seem to celebrate that though. More than celebrate I think. Mock it with humor even.

But I don’t give 2 shits about your opinion, or your life your family or anything so what is the point? If you hate ev that’s fine. Don’t get one. But you’re going to be getting one sooner or later if you’re still alive at that point. But constantly bitching on this forum is entertainment for me.

As the technology improves, I’m sure I’ll buy one. More than likely it will be a BMW or a Porsche but I’m sure I’ll get one. Not because I’m forced to because I want to. |
