You guys treating the GS like losers do understand that they made it to game 7 of the finals this year and won the championship last year don't you. You are talking like they are crap. They are better than 28 teams this season. They lost to a team with arguably the best player currently playing. Being second to James and the Cavs does not make a team worthless or its star a one trick pony or whatever silly name you keyboard athletes find cute. Curry has remarkable skills period. He failed in the finals for sure, but if I were picking a team he would definitely be on it. If you took a poll of all 30 NBA coaches each and every one of them would choose to have Curry on their team.

My bad. You are correct. I saw your response to Mr. Ace's comment to my comment (I know I'm dizzy too) and incorrectly made you guilty by association. Sorry.

The Bulls (2), Lakers (3), etc through 5th place all time NBA regular season wins brought home a title. Only the Celts at 6 and GS at 1 all time regular season NBA wins failed to win the title. For the NFL - a perfect season is the standard. For MLB - the Mariners and the 06 Cubs share the all time regular season record....the Mariners failed to win it all. To better state my point - Championships are eternal, records are for historians and fans, and meant to be broken. |

Rant warning: This comment is not in response to this post, but in the entire thread in general. I almost never participate in sports threads and now I know why. Everybody, including me, is full of $hit. Curry is great. Curry sucks. Curry only has one trick (my personal favorite.) James is a hated self-proclaimed king. James is the GOAT. Records matter. Records don't matter. Titles are the only thing that matters. Getting a title is the most important thing. Wait, getting a title isn't that good unless you win multiple titles. An undefeated season in the NFL doesn't matter if you don't win the SB. If you are a fan you are on a bandwagon. The refs stink. Its a conspiracy. I'm right. You are right. Neither of us are right. A one-in-a- billion player is $hit because there is another player that is better. The Warriors win the title last year but they are $shit because they only made it to the finals this year and because they didn't win they are $hit....blah, blah, blah. blah blah blah. Its all just talk. Very few of us has a clue what it takes to play at the level these guys play. |

GS was a fluke last year and their true colors showed up against an average Cleveland team that would have probably lost to OKC and the Spurs.
Jumpers didn't fall and they lost. Last year, GS just hit a lot more shots. Give Cle some credit for stopping them, but the shots just weren't falling as consistently. I'm not really impressed with Cle either. They beat Toronto (and had a little trouble) and 2 other garbage teams to get to the Finals. |

IMO, only the second half of game 7 was worth watching anyways.

And "the Block" is probably the greatest clutch defensive play in Cleveland history, countering Willie Mays' famous "Catch".
