Agreed, the speed differential is significant. Check out the data. Bottas was flying and lifted to avoid P1.

track is much much grippier than expected.. i guess we ll see some worn tires one way or another.. things are looking good for Merc's.. i hope there wont be a crash in opening laps then overtaking wont be a problem for Lewis here..

It's safe to nearly rule Alonso out but as you say Gasly has matured and is a GP winner but will have a tough fight

with Leclerc for the second seat at RB.

Jos got words on the club's terras with the ex of his GF .
The ex wasn't alone there , he was there with several friends and Merc fans . And finally the confrontation culminated about MAX . They threw a beer bottle in Jos his face .
You won't touch MAX when Jos is out there ...

The ex and the Merc fans started the fight . It was a fight from 5 vs 1 !
Yeah Jos was beated in his face , but the other 5 as well ...
A Police intervention was required , and one of the Police officers is a friend of mine .
He told me the whole situation in detail !
The case was in court at my place , just 4 miles from my home .
The rest is just BS ..

Probably you mean MAX's mom "Sophie Kumpen" from the Hasselt's racing family ..

If they do sign Leclerc it may have to mean not to impede Max in any way written in the contract which will be a little hard to do and it could be that the RB may not be designed to Lec's liking similar to what is now Checo's car which he has adjusted to his own liking and fell back.

As I think now about the situation between Max and Gasly and now with Perez, who is obviously not on the same level as Max but is no slouch, both Gasly and Perez did not suddenly become less talented when they went to RB. Gasly's performance now, IMO, is something he had before and during his tenure at RB.

I think the pressure of realizing and knowing you can't beat Max as team mates got to them, hence their less than maximum performance of what they can do. Perez's gap to Max is simply atrocious.
