I think Max will have the advantage in race pace and better tyre deg will make life a lot easier if its as hot as predicted.

Certainly seems that way. New power unit and lower drag wing and only able to edge out Max by 13 one thousandths does not bode well for their race pace.

Checo's HONDA PU is been replaced after his crash in the free practice .
His HONDA PU was leaking oil , probably by a crack in the block .
But ...His replaced HONDA PU is a used one , and generally that means 40-50 dead HONDA ponies .
So ... The Mexican will be slower in the race .

The good news is that the RB19 is faster than Ferrari with a full fuel tank.
Helmut Marko : MAX lost the pole with thirteen thousandths (0.013/sec.) but with a 100% race setup .
On the other hand : The Ferrari's got a complete new upgraded PU and turbo's.

Cars are in parc ferme for the race. This means everything is locked by the FIA and cannot be changed for the race .

not for engine maps, you can change engine maps on the fly.

I'm not sure about that , because in times that the Mercedes dominance was flying with the Mercedes Party-Mode it added 40-50 HP.
The FIA banned the Mercedes Party-Mode + the engine mappings during the race .
This was a new FIA regulation ...

Mercedes was also cheating with the sensors from the air intake , to make the engine running cooler and so getting more HP .
Even that was banned by the FIA .
This weekend the FIA is checking the flexible wings ...With the Aston car It's extreme !
