Please for the love of god OP make sure that you kick that cunt out of the house, keep everything, do not give her half since she betrayed the marriage (she can take what's hers, but that's it), also make sure you are in sole custody of your daughter, and lastly make that cunt pay you child support.

Divorce her and if the court tries to do anything other than this then you must raise hell.

Assaulting either party would not in any way would have helped the OP. He kept his cool, and is basing the decision on actually thinking it through and weighing options. To me it sounds like he will divorce this bitch, and to me it sounds like this is correct. Had he assaulted either party, his legal case would've been damaged, he would some more bullshit to deal with, and made a complicated process even more complicated. I commend OP for keeping his cool, he knew what was going on, he didn't have to "see it to believe it" and he waited because he was weighing his options, and decided against force, which within today's structure of the justice system favors him

Yeah I guess your right, it would be better legally for him not to assault the priest. Apparently though he did need to "see it to believe it" since he's here asking if he should believe his wife's story or not. Hopefully he does go through w/ the divorce.
If he ends up deciding on staying w/ her, he will never get passed what happened and it will always bother him because of her denial and how he knows it's BS. IMO, divorce is the only option!

Actually, there is no doubt in my mind "what" happened. With all these opinions from people that don't know me and are unbiased, this just reinforces my divorce plans. It's pretty clear and evident that noone is seeing her innocent side of the story based on the stated facts... I wonder why. Nobody is that innocent until proven guilty. Man, I appreciate everyones' points-of-views and comments.

Are you in the military? I noticed you said you had arrived back early from "training" which is why is ask. If you are, try to get orders overseas. Get over there, do an early return of dependents for your wife, and file for divorce over there. Much better than here as there is no chance for her going for your retirement. Find hot German/Italian chick and never look back.
If you are not military, go back to the house and kick her ass out. Cancel your credit cards first though...transfer all your money to a new account in your name only. She can make life hell for you by ruining your credit.
