Those guns weren't so bad. Certainly a lot quicker than using syringes.

If the operator didn't administer it properly, or the recipient happened to move, you ended up with a nasty bleeding gash in your arm. I speak from experience. Bled like a stuck pig. As I was leaving the room I was pulled from the line, bitched at for bleeding on the floor, and sent back for a do over to ensure that the vaccines had been thoroughly inserted. Ahh, those were the days...1966.

During AIT at Ft. Sill, they only used needles on us, but it was 4 needles at a time, 2 on each side. I felt like a pin cushion.

....when you read headlines on Yahoo "news" and don't understand a word of it.
Example: Savannah James, LeBron Call Out Fake Reports that Bronny Slid in Larsa Pippen’s DMs I mean, What the! |

I'm still trying to figure out what a Kardashian is, and why I would ever want to keep up with it/them?
The one that's got me baffled lately is TV commercials. I've been watching too much football the past few days, and I cannot understand any of the words in several musical sound tracks that they are using. Top of the list is a commercial apparently for Microsoft Teams...or maybe 'roid creme...I'm not sure. Might as well have the adults on a Charlie Brown TV special talking, and it is certainly the worst way to sell a web conferencing system by using an audio track that implies that their conferences are equally painful to listen to! Get off my TV, kids...and torn that noise that you think is music DOWN!!!!!

I was watching "A Christmas Carol" on FXM on Christmas Eve. First show I've watched in ages that had commercials. I habitually mute commercials. That's when you see how stupid commercials really are.

You know you're old when:
- you remember radio programs - your first TV was black and white - children were a form of TV remote I also remember the first night I was able to sneak watching TV so late that all the programs ended, they played the Star Spangled Banner, and the screen went to static. I couldn't understand..."TV ends...???".

Had a three-on-the-tree for my first car. Had some 78RPMs. Milkman would deliver milk and leave in between the screen door and the main door. Wringers and margarine color...not so much.

Auntie had a Victrola crank record player, and G-d forbid we touched it. Washing machine?...how about a washboard and tub in her basement? I learned to steer and shift in Dad's pickup somewhere between 4 and 5yo, and I was allowed to drive the Chevy sedan around the back yard all by myself when I was 7. And most kids in my family knew how to handle, check and load a weapon, plus the respect never to even think of touching them without a parent. I learned rifle about 10yo and pistol a few years after. Oh those were the good ol' days!
