Been playing Horizon Zero Dawn a lot lately. Pretty cool story I think, graphics are awesome for being a 2017 (?) released game.

AC Origins keeps crashing on my PC. It would work for a while, then CTD, so I kept playing as I could, but now it wont get past a cutscene without crashing, so I gave up.

Death Stranding wont load on my PC (older 960m card). Tried all the fixes but nothing has worked. I guess its a Dx12 issue on the older cards.

So I broke down and ordered a new ASUS ROG 14", Ryzen 9, RTX 3060. Maybe now I'll get to play all my games lol.

Connection speeds are really inconsistent. Might be 2mb, might be 20mb. Might just shut off all together lol

outer worlds was fun. Enjoyed that game alot.

couldn't get into death stranding / UPS delivery simulator. especially with the 20 minute cut scenes.

tried cyberpunk, not that great imo. the driving and shooting mechanics felt off. and the leveling up system is very complicated. Maybe i'd enjoy it more if i used my mouse and keyboard instead of a controller and upgraded my 1080 to 3080 (if i can find one at msrp).

little nightmares 2 was fun, but i beat in like 2 days.
tried Sekiro -- too difficult for me lol.

miss the days of skyrim and good fallout RPGs. Is fallout 76 any good ? i heard it was trash.

I love Fallout, but I did not care for 76. It just didn't feel the same and the online piece was annoying.

We need another game on the levels of Skyrim and Witcher 3. Massive open world, more side quests than you can count with consequences depending on your choices.

The graphics in Death Stranding are amazing! The cut scene videos are a little much tho. 3 hrs into the game and I've probably actually played a whopping 40 minutes. Interesting concept, the BB piece is a little odd.

Do you mean cross play between platforms? I think it has it but I know in WZ you can disable cross play.

I always thought pc players had the advantage in WZ. Wider field of view, keyboard/mouse, better fps, etc.

They definitely do, the wider field of view is a HUGE advantage alone. Only place console has it better is close quarter/range fighting where aim-assist on controller is at an advantage compared to mouse and keyboard.

The FOV isnt alone the advantage, but you have greater hitboxes onto your char as PC player, consoles have less moves but more combos to use and they are even quicker with jump/aim/kill, you cant beat this. Maybe with adding some macros at my keyboard, but thats not the real deal.

PC you can do more/better movements unless the controller player is using a scruff/competitive controller with the extra paddles on the back. Like it's really hard to do a drop/prone shot on a controller without having the extra paddles on the back, because of the controller config u can't properly move/aim while trying to do a drop/prone shot while in a fire fight with some one. There are multiple other instance where muose and keyboard can be better also.

I'm absolutely horrible at aiming with a controller, but I can move around during close combat way better. With a keyboard/mouse I can aim and shoot way better, but feel clumsy with movements during close combat. I prefer controllers for games like Skyrim, Assassins Creed, or Witcher where I don't have to aim and shoot, and keyboard for games where I do have to aim and shoot.

What to say after locking out the consoleros? It takes some minutes until you'll get a full loaded server to start the map and that means, PC gamers are outnumbered by consoles, no?
For the gameplay it was a complete new experience and way more easy to frag other players as it used to be into other FPS games.

Finally played Final Fantasy 7 Remake. I can see why many regard it as the best in the franchise, it’s fantastic. Battle style is much more to my liking than the turn style, waiting for the gauge to fill up like 10 and maybe 13 (can’t remember much about this game other than I liked it). Looks like there isn’t a sequel to conclude the Cloud-Sephiroth story?
