No BMW comes with a single M badge on the trunk. Those M badges that you are talking about are usually on the fenders.

I've seen around 4-5 Fake M's. Never really took a picture of them but just laughed. Next time i see them i will make sure to snap a pic for y'all.

PS: what do you guys think of grill stripes on non-m cars. Is that a bad thing/laughable? Always thought they looked cool regardless of M or not

Darnit! I just deleted the pic, but I came across an ///M badged 740i! The guy was an owner\manager of a subway, and was bragging about how he just snagged the preowned ///M car at a good price! The funny part was that I parked my M4 right next to him near the window, and the cashier was uncontrollably laughing looking out of the window and listening to his boss go on and on about our ///M cars!!!

Also, I've seen a couple of M 330i coupes out in the wild!! Grrrr!!!

Debadgin yes, because of envier ppl. (Mostly @work or customer). Underrating is not common, more for fun/joking.
