u serious? that was one of the most horrible shifters i've driven man. the throw is sooooo long... like driving a 18 wheeler

the first mod im doing to my new car, whatever it is, is a short throw shifter kit with m-tech knob

It doesnt bother all that much. I have the short knob in my E90 which is good enough for me. I dont really wanna mess with the M, since its a split between my dad and me. I wont get 100% Happiness from my money invested

i'll save u time, u gonna prolly ask why i didnt get a 6mt to start with:
1. family always bugged for having MT cars they cant drive
2. was commuting form irvine to santa barbara (130 miles thru LA traffic)
3. had a G35 that was 6MT....

so auto didnt seem so bad... then i switched jobs to somewhere much closer (like 4 miles) and had to return my leased G35... and then the epiphany happened

WTF!!! why isnt there a clutch on this thing???
