Whoever chose the color should be fired!
My first thoughts were O' snap, yea that's cool.
But why freaken hideous neon yellow? And the god awful blingy plastic chromed kidney grills. The kidney grills, trim, and wheels should be in black. BMW Designers if you are going to go through the effort please use a proper classic BMW color; Silver, Black, Alpine White, or even retro non-metallic Orange! I like the overall exterior design, besides the oddly shaped huge kidney grills, and cheep looking chrome bits. The all important paint color should have been a hommage not hideous, espicaly on a one off car. Silver paint with Black trim would have been the proper color. Whoever chose the color should be fired! ![]() Otherwise it is cool. Last edited by DCG; 05-22-2015 at 11:42 PM.. |

I actually like it! It's one of my favorite BMW concept cars.
I like the front end, the lines and the overall character, the car represents. BMW made a very futuristic hommage. And a concept car is supposed to be a bit extraordinary! I think it's rather sad that there won't be a production version... Some people are just never satisfied with anything... I really can't see how a BMW Fan would not like this.

I like the rear but I'm not liking the front at all...
The original CSL looks still very beautiful and timeless, the new one.. hmmm. no, it'll not be the future classic.

I hope this have some relation to upcoming G 3/4 series. I don't like many aspect except the "Mustang-like" or BMW's past punched-in front.

I like its purpose: make a polarising statement and be something you simply can't ignore.
The delivery is perfect in the sense of achieving the above. It draws attention like hell and its a brave move. This CSL has a role to play and plays it well Now, is it pretty? Nope. But then not all BMW of the past were (think f07). Do I like it nonetheless? A lot

Ouch!
I'm finding hard times to accept this design! After staring at the photos....maybe I can accept the front end with its big kidney grills, but sure not the rear! Looks like a Japanese fiction anime car!
