Actually, I blame the influx of people who pre-ordered the game to get the beta key. They're now in the mix with everyone who's been playing for months.

I tried that before I got the beta invite. It's really completely different when you have multiplayer. BTW your cannon defense is so easy to break :P

That strategy (or any strategy) will work against the AI as it is in the Beta. My friend who works for Blizzard says they have harder AI, and it's what they play with, but it's not available to us beta testers.

That's all that matters...is that you're having fun. I'm not very competitive either, and prefer to do different things (you can tell by my posts). Competitive means the same broken strats, and who can do it better.

I'm looking forward to playing with the AI in massive-comp-stomps.

I've read somewhere that people with widescreen monitors will benefit somehow in this game. Not sure though.

I play wit ha 23" widescreen and when I increase the resolution I see more of the map. Like the difference between 800x600 res and 1920x1280 is 2-3 times the view of the map.

wtf my game crashed twice today and after the second crash it says i have no friends and i have to play my practice/placement matches AGAIN. i went 4-1 for gold for like the 3rd time and cant get any real matches going cuz of this crap. sigh.. will be readding ppl to friends i guess

Only thing different today was that I logged in and I was a different user. But a relog fixed that.

my game started going crazy yesterday and it made me lag/crash/disc out of 3-4 games yesterday. my ladder got bugged and i lost my 1v1 as well as some 2v2 ladder rankings.. pretty lame but hey its only beta so far. i played about 20 games yesterday.. rank 1 in my 2v2 gold division with 1 of my brothers. unfortunately my division sucks.. i think rank 2 doesn't even have 1100 points. good thing u get matched up w/ ppl outside of your div too
