I guess the stewards took the stand of take no further action was because both Lewis and Fernando was still "behind" Nico even they had the momentum.

For sporting regulation 20.4 to become a clear cut case, was if they were side-by-side and Nico keep moving and push Lewis or Fernando off the track.

This time they "chose" to dodge right off the track instead of left and back on racing line. Probably that's the argument the stewards believes in.

That's a surprise. I'd thought the new sponsor would be jetBlue; but its actually a more in-depth partnetship.

Sauber has announced a new partnership with English Premier League side Chelsea FC.

The team has been dropping hints at a new partnership during the last two races, carrying the words "Out of the Blue" on the engine cover in China, and "True Blue" at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Announcing the link-up, a press release from Sauber states that the partnership 'includes the sale of merchandising articles and exchange of knowledge in the area of sport science. Both partners will support each other by featuring the other partner's logo and thus benefit from a significant market presence outside their original sport'.

The Chelsea logo will be carried on the C31 for the first time at the Spanish Grand Prix, and Sauber CEO Monisha Kaltenborn says the team is excited about the opportunities created.

"A partnership like this between Formula One and Football has never existed before in this form, yet there are numerous commonalities and possible synergies," Kaltenborn said. "In either case we are talking about team sport at the highest - and international - level. The Sauber F1 Team and Chelsea FC are dealing with many of the same sporting and commercial topics and we want to strengthen each other in these areas. We are looking forward to exploiting these opportunities, and we congratulate Chelsea on making it to the final of the Champions League."

Sauber's logo will be on display at Chelsea home matches, as well as on interview boards at Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea's chief executive Ron Gourlay said the partnership was a result of shared philosophies.

"This is an innovative partnership that will see a football club link up with a Formula 1 team like never before, bringing together two of the world's biggest sports and uniting our fans," Gourlay said. "We felt that this Swiss team, the fourth oldest of the existing teams, reflects our own ideals perfectly.

"In a year when Chelsea celebrates 20 seasons as a Premier League team, Sauber does so as a Formula 1 team. We share many philosophies when it comes to how the respective organisations are run, from the development of young talent to constantly striving for success. Sauber's philosophy towards grassroots development has produced some of the best drivers in F1, which mirrors our dedication to develop promising young football talent through our Academy.

"This partnership will benefit us both greatly, with the potential to create unique commercial opportunities. It is a shared vision to unite the two most attractive sports in the world. We look forward to working closely with the Sauber F1 Team and wish them the very best of luck for the remainder of the Formula 1 season."

I like that Sauber is actively trying to find more sponsorship! I'm hoping they can keep up their pace and not fall off developing the car due to less funding than other teams.

I'm not a soccer fan, but I like that it's different.

Mark Webber is off to Ferrari next season to replace Felipe Massa in a one-year deal, according to a report in the Spanish media.

Webber is out of contract with Red Bull Racing at the end of this season, however, the Aussie is thought to be wanting to stay on in Formula One.

But with Red Bull looking to promote young drivers Daniel Ricciardo or Jean-Eric Vergne, Webber has been forced to look elsewhere.

Add that to the belief that Ferrari are eager to part ways with the under-performing Massa, who has just two points from four races this season, and there is suddenly some credence to the Webber rumour.

According to Spain's El Confidencial, the deal came about because of the "great relationship" between Webber and Ferrari's leading driver Fernando Alonso who has "supported" the Aussie's arrival.

The publication even goes as far as to quote a source who states that the deal is "done."

As for why Ferrari have not opted to turn to Sergio Perez, the El Confidencial claims it's because the Italian outfit want him to have "more experience before assuming a role of great responsibility" at Ferrari.

Kubica is out for good (sad) and the issue w/ Ferrari is with the car, not the drivers (well, except Massa - but even w/ MW they'd still suck). Hope they sort their shit out
