Yeah. Rich is one of the good guys, hate to see him lose. I was expecting something along the lines of a UD and not Rich laying there with his eyes open like Arlovski does. Ace needs to move to 205 like Chael, he is too large for 185. I think he could do a lot better since he would have to cut so much.

Agreed, I think Rich is a stand up guy. Can't hate someone like that. Sucks that he lost but I was rooting for my boy Cung from the beginning so I'm happy to see him win in such a way. All that promoting the film Iron Fist didn't stop him from training hard which I find really admirable.

I thought Cung was looking super slow, like he was still hurt from his last fight, thinking this isnt going to go well, then BOOM, what a KO. I love Cung, he's a great dude and a very exciting fighter, so I was happy he got the win
felt so bad for Rich though, super nice guy. Thought he was doing well but just got caught. Rich has always been a natural 195, he's too big for 185 but too small for 205, hard to say which should be his next move Big win by Thiago Silva, he got caught toward the end of the 2nd but manages to survive. he would have prob been cut if he lost |

GSP will do 1 of 3 things this upcoming weekend---1) Prevail himself and actually finish a fight 2) Lose in a spectacular fashion and 3) Put on another vs Shields performance. He is my top fighter but he ain't Rush no more. Perhaps Georges "Whats the rush?" St Pierre is more like it.

"World Series of Fighting" was on last night, had some decent bouts. Miguel Torres, Phil Davis, Arlovsky and some earlier fights I missed.

Ya, AA looked good, but he was up against a "nobody" so it wasn't a fair test for him. He needs to step up to better competition in his next fight.

Oh please, GSP was out for so long and to be able to keep at that level is amazing to say the least. So many people were expecting him to come out a shell of his former self.
Up until the head kick, GSP was on his way to finishing Condit. Condit had nothing for him in either both the ground or standup. After the head kick, he had to go survival mode until mid round 4. You ever been kicked in the head like that bro? You get so disoriented and feel completely out of it. Cermont disappointed me the most last night, wtf was he doing -_-; Hendricks I think deserves a title shot. Dude gets more impressive with each fight |

Great fight. GSP really impressed me coming off such a huge layoff from his ACL injury. He was nearly finished but proves he has a lot of heart and cannot count him out.
Hendricks KO was crazy... If Diaz is back soon I'd like to see them fight for no.1 contender. In the meantime let GSP v Silva happen at 178 catchweight. |

yea, you cant hate on GSP but that performance, he looked great. And its not like he laid and prayed like Fitch used to do. He was very active, trying to pass, while defending Condit guard, which was damn good also
I thought Condit had him though but he made a mistake and GSP made him pay for it, great fight either way Hendricks is a monster, Kampmann is so tough, for Hendricks to KO him like that, really shows the power this kid has. If the super fight does happen, Diaz and Hendricks makes sense to me, who else would there be? Condit? and yea, I thought Lawlor won that fight but thought Carmont should have smoked him |

GSP looked great, he composed himself really well. When Condit knocked him down and starting pounding him I thought he was done for sure, but he hung in there.
Not sure what to do with Condit right now. If I had to pick a no.1 contender right now, it's Hendricks. But I'd still like to see him fight maybe Condit or Diaz. I want the superfight to happen asap, these things can easily stretch out for another couple years and I'm not patient! Would rather put that fight together while they can, those other fights can happen anytime, there will always be contenders. Would hate to look back and say "what if" when it could possibly happen in reality. Yea some of my mates had money on Lawlor. He got robbed for sure. |

Donno if anyone read this but Thiago Silva is suspended again. 420 got him this time and it is 6 months out. Gotta have to do rehab and his last 3 round sub win is now a no contest.
Dude can't get a break. |
