I bought a QNAP TS451 a little while back and it has worked great for redundant storage and streaming video via DLNA. Another great feature is that it can be a virtualization host to run virtual machines. I wanted to set up a VM to run a firewall for my home network then realized the 451 isn't ideal for this because it only has two NIC ports. I picked up a 453 which has 4 NIC ports and will set up that VM at some point. I should look at selling my 451 now.
