The rest of the season is definitely going to be interesting.
The Merc dominance during this turbo hybrid era had me waiting for the new regs since late 2019 hoping for Ferrari to contend once again. All I’m hoping for this season is a good battle between Max and Lewis all the way to the end to keep it interesting.

I had to wash myself with bottles of Evian water ...my lawn was gone , completely burned by the sun .
Actually crazy situations for in Belgium ..One thing is for sure , the climate change is real !
Wow, I would think it would have been hard to even get into the 30s there. Definitely with you on climate change, with the population where it is now and growing we can’t keep the status quo and think we won’t reach a point of no return.

Any F1 car that slows down to perform a sophomoric "burn out" stunt at the start/finish line of a WDC race should receive a grid penalty in the next race....this does not fit within the FIA F1 Sporting Regulations and should be called out.

The "what-if" associated with nearly stopping an F1 car on a terminal velocity front straight could lead to death and destruction....there is no excuse or provision for this type of behavior.

Go to 1 min 40 sec and "enjoy" a front straight debacle that has gone terribly wrong....regardless if this is "different" than an F1 car slowing down to perform a high school maneuver....the end result is horrific:

Off-Topic :
So , 10 days ago we've got our first 2021 heatwave in Belgium . Followed by a thunderstorm !
But actually it was more than just a thunderstorm , it was a supercell ..
Last year the heat was even worse ..
In other words a 'Tornado ! We've never seen that in Belgium ! Please check date and location ...
It looked like this and 92 homes were heavily damaged and 17 people were injured !

Max blew it out today, RB really has the pace now. Will it continue, or will there be a big fade mid season like Ferrari from a few years ago? Hope not, Sir Lewis needs the competition and so do the fans!

I’m still looking for the RB car to fail Max at least twice more this year. He better build up a decent sized lead to compensate. He got really really lucky in Baku.

Honestly, I hope he wins this year. And as you stated, keep it close, like last week. Makes for exciting racing.

Masi should GTFO of F1, his behaviour at Imola when Max's car broke a d/shaft in FP allowing it to be transported through the town instead of the track shows he is a MIB supporter.
Whoever heard of anyone being warned for doing on the track.

I could not believe this even happened. Putting aside how childish and in poor taste it is to stop because you are so far ahead, its entirely avoidable added danger. To the veteran fans on here, did this used to be a thing? MKSixer

Wow doing black lines on the race track and not the pit road, did this apply to hammy doing doughnuts when he won on previous occasions or is it just a 'get Max for something' thing.

For those on this forum that choose to remain uneducated and uninformed, read this....the FIA needs to call out yesterday's childish behavior that violated FIA regulations and endangered others:

2021 FORMULA ONE SPORTING REGULATIONS
PUBLISHED ON 27 MAY 2020

27) DRIVING
27.1 The driver must drive the car alone and unaided.
27.2 Drivers must observe the provisions of the Code relating to driving behaviour on circuits at all times.
27.3 Drivers must make every reasonable effort to use the track at all times and may not deliberately leave the track without a justifiable reason.
Drivers will be judged to have left the track if no part of the car remains in contact with it and, for the avoidance of doubt, any white lines defining the track edges are considered to be part of the track but the kerbs are not.
Should a car leave the track the driver may re-join, however, this may only be d one when it is safe to do so and without gaining any lasting advantage. At the absolute discretion of the race director a driver may be given the opportunity to give back the whole of any advantage he gained by leaving the track.
27.4 At no time may a car be driven unnecessarily slowly, erratically or in a manner which could be deemed potentially dangerous to other drivers or any other person.

Interesting compilation. Shocking to see how unprotected the necks and heads were back in the days. Just look at Schumi's helmet moving violently during his crash.
That cold tyre spin from Berger coming out of the pit was truly frightening.

And agreed, slowing down on the straight is always a big No!

Go stomp on the brakes on the busy highway and then do a burnout. Let me know what you think after that.

Why would I do that to celebrate what. Max was celebrating his win with a burnout when nobody was on the track near him..hammy was 39 seconds behind him so why not? and perfectly understandable under the circumstances

You understand that just because Ham was 39 seconds behind doesnt mean he was the closest car right? There were lapped cars right around him.

No, it does not fit the wonderboi fans narrative.
