I'm not surprised to see from Sky as most are rooting for HAM. And I do feel their opinion and commentating are biased.

a good example i remember recently was HAM vs PER in Turkey 2021.
Croft mentioned something did Perez pushed Hamilton wide/or Hamilton gave too much room.
Where Button (sitting in for Brundle that weekend) corrects him immediately. "I think Perez gave Hamilton too much room."
(To me which was an great wheel-to-wheel racing!!!)

Another example was after Brazil, that Damon Hill wanted to crucify VER for the "tactical foul". Definitely a bit hard and dirty racing IMO, but you can see from the interview of Sky w/ Christian Horner. Felt like several pundits ganging up on Horner.

I don't know man, it just doesn't sound right.

The thing is, when that disgraceful Sky ad - supposed to make "fun" out of the 51G Silverstone crash - started to make waves, most thought that it was fake, unrelated to Sky. But it turned out to be legit. Sky realized that the ad backfired and removed it. But it was too late: it had gone viral.

Anyways, should this "poking the bear" ad catch Verstappen's attention (highly doubtful) it will almost certainly galvanize him to prove them wrong.

I'd like to point out that there was only one other time that the last F1 race of the season had two drivers tied for points. It was the 1974 season and the race was the USGP at Watkins Glen. The drivers were Emerson Fittipaldi (McLaren) and Clay Regazzoni (Ferrari). Fittipaldi qualified 8th, Regazzoni 9th. By finishing 4th, Fittipaldi outpointed Regazzoni's troubled 11th place finish. Would like to add at the time it was the 10th grand prix I was in attendance.

I know very little about f1 and very little about Gran Turismo on my PS4.
That said, this much is true:

When I know I have a faster car, I drive more like Lewis.

When I don’t, I drive more like Max.

Because of that silly nearly irrelevant experience, I suspect that the different performance levels of their cars may have more influence over each man’s approach to risk and the rules than the character of the men themselves.

Be careful with conclusions based off FP times. Teams do not disclose to the press the fuel loads carried during the FP sessions. Less fuel = faster. It is told that both HAM and VER were driving with high fuel loads to simulate race conditions, but not necessarily equal high fuel loads. Path of least resistance, and calculated risk.
New ICE will only cost 5 place grid penalty, with a new refreshed power and ability to overtake in the new Yas Marina layout. This would give Merc/Ham a better chance to win than a tired ICE and fighting from P2 or close battle in P1/2 with Max.

Its not impossible. We shall see tomorrow.
