We've had really good luck with him. Always kept him pretty lean at about 55lbs. He broke his front leg jumping off a chair when he was about 1, so he definitely has arthritis there, but other than that he's been very healthy.

It is certainly in the back of my mind that he's an older Bulldog. The way he plays with the puppy, you would never know he was 9.

Here are a couple pictures of my Husky Cringer (Named after He-man's tiger) who is 11 years old and my Chihuahua/Terrier mix Franklin who is 6. He is also the boss.

Also this definitely does not in any way add to the stereotype that all Canadians have Huskies and mush them to work everyday...

Cringer is able to clear the steps with ease...take off mode.

Franklin loves his BMWs

and the two dummies doing what they do best...howling and barking while people watching...

Here's Maruka, she just turned 8 months old. Decided to adopt her on vacation in PR back in December and she arrived stateside end of January.

She was spayed last week

But she's feeling much better, almost back to normal now.

Oh yeah, and she loves riding in the backseat with the top down!

we use to have a golden retriever named bogey love it! Beemer is a great dog, best dog I have ever had, a little hyper still (1 year 4 months) but slowly powering down and VERY smart. Def would get another boston again!

Haha that's funny... He'll be 4 in November...still very active although he def sleeps more now than in the past. That said, if you're willing to play all day and be active with him he can hang. Very very smart and equally affectionate. Such a creature of habit too, cracks me up...
