I've been working from home for the past five years but we still have a daily beater. It's my wife's old Explorer she bought new. It's got over 111K miles, but still chugs along. Too bad it's horrendous on fuel. This things is the worst daily driver when it comes to that.
Bought a 2011 135i for my wife 2.5 years ago. She NEVER drives it. I looked at the odometer the other day and I think it's done 6K miles in two and a half years since we've owned it. Terrrrrrrrrrible. |

I drive my spouses car everyday as I'm a tight-a$$.
Honda Jazz (aka Fit in NA) It's bright blue and doubles as a small van for carrying all the crap she buys. Its also cheap to run and maintain....and strangely...quite fun to drive too. Cheap and cheerful! |

My daily is the Frankfurt metrobus and subway system. So my Zeds E85 & E89 and the Volkswagen Love Bug are all garage queens. Gas prices in Germany are fcuking high. My mechanic reminded me today to use the cars more frequently.

Something cheap enough to not give any fucks at all about damage to it even though its still fully insured.

When someone asks what's your daily, to me that implies you have a 2nd car.

1999 E46 with 170k. Putting about 1k a month on it and going strong. Still super quiet cabin, non sport suspension makes is very comfortable to travel albeit at a tradeoff on corners.
Drives like did the first day I set in it. |
