When you...

Buy coilovers to slam your ride 3.5" for that tucked look.
Then put 20" rims on it.
Black, of course.
That are at least 10" wide, so it sits flush, you know.
With a lip that is either 1) red, 2) yellow, 3) polished, or 4) same color as your car.
And have the craziest offset you can try to fit.
So you can have a 4" lip yo.
And mount the cheapest H-rated 315/20/20 tire on there.
And roll your fenders because they don't fit.
Then dial in 3 degrees of negative camber because they still don't fit.
Give up and mount used H-rated 295/25/20 tires so they will finally fit.
Only to raise your car back up because with your ET20 offset, it never fit in the first place.
And your TPMS warning is still beeping at you.

But now that you don't rub...

It's time to turn EVERY single light in your car into a "Xenon" light.
So you get $300 bulbs to make the angel eyes blue.
Get $100 LEDs to make your license plate bulbs blue.
Go through 16 sets of H8 bulbs to find the right foglight bulbs to match the other blue bulbs.
Get 10,000K HID bulbs so they are as blue as your angel eyes.
And mount them in $2k Euro housings so there's no orange reflector.
Now you need to make those angel eyes DRLs on your E90.
Along with your foglights, of course.
And when you signal your door handle lights have to blink as well.
Of course, your interior dome lights WERE blue...
Until they melted.
And hey, your dash lights are ALL still orange.
But you've got $3500 in blue exterior lights that fog up in the rain.
And used H-rated tires that you should not be driving on in the rain.

So now it's a summer-only car, and it's time to spice up the exterior with carbon fiber items:
Vorsteiner hood... check.
With vents? Double check, only drive it on sunny days anyway!
Saibon trunklid? Triple check!!
Painted to match? PSH! Go CHECK YO-SELF!
OEM interior trim, check.
OEM mirror covers, check.
Hartge shift knob, check.
Hartge e-brake handle, check.
ACS door sill covers, check.
Hartge steering wheel cover, check.
Who-knows-who-makes-it kidney grilles, check.
All different brands of carbon fiber made in different places so all the weaves are a little different? Er.... check.
But you saved 80lbs of weight at least.
Which negates some of the 100lbs you added from 20x10" rims.

Now you nearly have a fully "done-up" car. What are we missing?

M-tech body kit.
Gotta add the carbon fiber "splitters" up front now.
Along with your European license plate.
On the back, you put your US plate over the Euro plate.
And show off your quad-tip exhaust.
That you can't hear over your blow off valve.

By now your sig is 65 lines long... since debadging and tint are obviously mods.
w00t.

All in good fun BTW... should say that before somebody gets bent out of shape about it. People can do whatever they want to their car and if they like it then so be it.

i went to JHU to visit a friend of mine a couple weeks ago and saw ur car on the parking lot.. its one of the best e90 i have seen in person, very clean!!!!!

a debadge is usually a debadge for a cleaner look (every single car ive ever owned was debadged, without ever even thinking about the engine size), ive even debadged the s600, and a C class mercedes etc etc.. what difference does it make if its a 328.. sounds like a bunch of teens with teeny wankers who bought the more powerfull model and want to ensure that the apprantely "lesser" 328 is looked down on. get a life. btw. in most countries the factory will do the model delete for you before the car will ever show up at the dealership. Based on these assumptions the only 3 that shouldnt be debadged is the M, but most people that get the M rather keep it badged..
