If you're rich as hell I don't see why you shouldn't buy your kid a nice car. I mean if you know your kid's an ungrateful asshole who will use the car to show off, then don't do it, but if they genuinely appreciate cars and a $3k Ford vs a $60k BMW doesn't make a difference in your account value I don't see why not. Most people love their kids and want the best for them, but the parents should decide if their kid is an asshole who shouldn't flaunt with a nice car or not.
