Where in the world is his watermark?
Only thing about this photo is that it looks like smog. By themselves either element, ( NYC/ sunrise) would look fine.

Nothing wrong with your picture. Mention NYC/LA and smog is the first thing that would pop into my head. If it had said Philadelphia, I wouldn't have said anything about smog. Prejudiced I guess. I have a Mono lake picture with the same color in the sunrise.

All I will do is stop it down, lowest ISO,exposure compensate and use a CP as a last resort. Very "ghetto" but it works. No filters? Shoot early or late and get those really long times.

My turn for critique. Taken awhile back- Naptime. Don't like the blanket but I lack the PS skill for that one.

looks pretty good, of course the blanket is there, but you already know that

i personally would have liked to see the nose a bit more in focus along with the eye, but that's a personal preference thing, it looks pretty good, exposure looks good too from my limited photography skills point of view.

I think I was doing a Bokeh test on the cat, too concentrated on the "eye in focus" to figure out the nose was centered in the picture.
Now that you mention it,the nose and eye should have been sharp given that composition.

Thanks, TL. The water flow is real w/o a CP or ND. That shot was 1/2 sec @ f/22. I would have liked to shoot with a larger aperture, but wanted to keep my exposure around half a second.

Excellent portrait, Tim. I take it she knew you were taking her picture? How were you able to get so close? No security around the set?
