Running only on engine

Guys, is there any way I can turn off the hybrid mode and run only on combustion engine? I know that there is an option in driving settings to activate an option to preserve electric energy for the future. But still when I choose this option and I am using D (or S) driving mode, there is still some electric consumption. Thx

I believe if you set the computer to ‘preserve the battery’ it knocks of the electric motor.

Maybe you can cheat… set the preserve electric and set a phantom much further away destination, then when the computer thinks that’s where you’ll use the electric mode it’ll be more conservative?

Preserve does hold the battery but if it still goes above what you told it to hold then it allows you to use that is my understanding.

We have used it for long journeys motorway and then turned it off around the city and it’s worked well.
