Hello, I'm a key case maker for BMW keys. One of my customers has a 2024 BMW X1 key, and he says the key doesn't fit the case properly, even though I don't see any changes to the key's shape.

I don't have a 2024 X1 key myself, so I'm not sure if the key dimensions have changed from previous model years. Could you please help me figure this out?

As far as I recall, they should be the same. I had an iX as a loaner while my car was getting work done and if they are different, it must be imperceptible.

Yes, I really want to promote my product, but not in this post. My customer let me know that the product doesn't fit, and it's true. I'm unsure whether it's due to the key or a defect in the product. After checking and getting help from others, I realized that the BMW key hasn't changed; the issue is with my product, and I've figured out how to fix it.

I took a picture of my fob but it's hard to measure the angles, thickness is 1.8cm on the silver side, 1.4cm on the black side. Anyways, I hope it helps
