Hello,

On a long road trip after installing the latest software upgrade (03/2024.40), I noticed that the lane keeping system is working much worse than before. My car (June 2023, Sdrive 1,8, Romania) does not change lanes, the lane warning is not accurate and in Assisted Driving Mode it goes out of lanes. I have Driving Assistant Professional in my car, but I don't see Assisted Driving Plus in the mode selection (instead I have Assisted Driving Mode on my selection screen). (In the videos I watch on Youtube, some X1s have Assisted Drive Plus) I would like to know your opinions and comments on this subject.

Hi neighbor!

Assisted driving has different options available, depending on the country you currently are in. For example: traffic light detection and speed limit change anticipation are not active in my country, so I guess in Romania too. But lane keeping and auto lane change (shortly press of turn signals) is available everywhere above 70 km/h speed.

Lane changing works for me however (drive assist pro).

I really enjoy the driving assist plus. What I do notice is it can change pretty drastically depending on what state in the US I’m in.

The lane change has never been great. It was very quick and abrupt.

I wish it worked for longer than 10-15 seconds before warning you to put your hands back on the wheel. It actually works really great with driving distance, staying centered in the lane even on tight turns. I think they have it pretty close to full autopilot.

The parking thing is stupid and I haven’t had it work once. Not that I need it but it would be nice to have it work.

I noticed the same thing as well. I wouldn't say it's "worse" than before the 03/2024.40 update. It just feels different than 03/2024.37. Seems to be a little more aggressive and somewhat confused.

There was no 02/2024.37 to my knowledge.

Do you mean 11/2023? Or 07/2023?

sorry about the typo. I meant 3/2024.37.(which I got in early April)

3/2024.40 was updated on my X1 a week ago.
