That happens after a period of time if the update version is unable to install in your car. It doesn't mean the update is withdrawn generally.

new version will be 07/2024, BMW informed me, because they finally fix some my issues in that update

Thought I’d give quick update after my car getting two OTA updates in recent weeks: -
System speed is much quicker and loads times are dramatically reduced;
Spotify is now rock solid (it was just unusable for me before the update);
Driver Recorder and Augmented View are working perfectly;
I can now search for more postcodes using voice controls (including my home address);

Other things I’ve noticed include pulling away from junctions etc is much better, gear shifts are much smoother and power delivery is much improved.

In short, this how the car should have been 12 months ago when I bought it and it feels that BMWs “public beta” is coming to an end. Anyone buying an X1 will certainly benefit from the pain and frustration we’ve all been though.
