Unlock all doors...

Perhaps this car is different than my m340.. but with comfort access, shouldnt all of my doors unlock when I grab the driverside handle (when this option is enabled)? Currently, if I grab the driver's handle, only that door unlocks. Pretty annoying to say the least.

When I grab the handle, it unlocks all doors. Same with digital key plus

Does on our iX1, only difference from M340 is only the front doors have the sensors. Maybe change the Comfort Access settings back to driver's door only then back to all to see if it kicks into life.

Hi
Have you tried looking through the settings ?
I’m sure you can configure how you want it to operate

Just like your M340, this should be a setting in iDrive.

Appreciate the replies.. but that's my issue. The option is selected (unlock all doors), but it doesn't do it when you open from the drivers.
Interestingly, if i open from the passenger door all of them unlock.

Pretty much all cars that have some kind of touch the handle unlock the doors, unlock everything from the passenger door including my 2019 and my wife's 2024 CRV

I assume the OP is referring to when unlocking from the inside?

In which case yes it is very annoying and only car i know of that does this. Ive set the car to unlock all doors at the end of trip to get around this.

Well even if you had it programmed to open driver door only, if you unlock the passenger door handle, all doors would unlock - that's how all cars work.

Well comfort access has nothing to do with the interior lock/unlock buttons, so I don't think anyone else is assuming that.

Yes I'm referring to comfort access on the outside. When I pull from the driver's door, only the driver's door unlocks, Even though the option is selected to unlock all doors.

Is your car a right hand drive? If so, sounds like the comfort access is programmed as if it's left hand drive.

gonna sound like a cliche but have you tried changing the setting off and then back on after a bit of drive. Computers are funky and sometime rebooting is what they need. I've used both the settings (only driver and all doors) and haven't faced any issues so far.
