I was thinking of cashing in on the New Owner complimentary track/performance drive session. I have a big project ending in September so was thinking of treating myself to a trip in October.

I contacted the number they provided (was on hold forever, did the "call back" option, got a call back in two days.) The agent told me that South Carolina has their dates published already, and she emailed me those dates. However, it said Thermal (near Palm Springs) only puts out their dates a month before.

For trip-planning, it's easier to work with existing appointment dates, but dang, I was really hoping to go to Palm Springs for some hiking, spa, and casino time. That said, I do know that nearby Greenville, SC is charming and could be a pleasant weekend destination, as well. Or I could venture over to Asheville and check that out, too.

Has anyone attended the gratis New Owner sessions? Which location? Was it worth the time, effort, and cost to get there?

I can likely book air & hotel with points; I'll need to pay for rental car, meals, and any additional activities I undertake.

The calendar shows classes available for New Owners Track Drive (NOTD), and I asked a (the?) phone rep whether the availability is accurate for NOTD and she said that it was, but you can't book through the website.

Clear the filters on the calendar, then tick the options for Thermal, CA and "New Owner's Track Drive". You can view availability for upcoming days at the Cali location. For example, they show 20 spots on 9/27/2024 and October 11th has 10 spots remaining.

I'm looking at flights now. Palm Springs has been one of many US spots I've wanted to visit, so I'd prefer that. Trying to hook up flights and lodging now and see what dates work best.
