Hello Everyone! New 2024 X1 on the way--hoping to take delivery first week of May.

What options are available on the X1 to charge a MacBook Pro (87W draw--20.2V at 4.3A)? My wife frequently works in the car when we are on extended trips. My Ram has a built in AC inverter, so she can just plug in directly to that when traveling.

Does the X1 have an AC plug in the console? If not, what are my best options?

None that I have seen. Just a standard 12 volt lighter outlet.

As per COOLGREANY above, there's just a 12V lighter outlet, so you'd have to use a standalone inverter

I was able to get a charge on my lenovo laptop using the USB-C plug in the center console. It wasn't very fast but it was charging faster than it was draining. Not sure if your macbook is USB-C or not. If it's not, you may be able to get a USB-C adaptor instead of a power inverter. I'd test before using - I wasn't doing anything intense on my laptop so not sure what the drain would be if you're using battery intensive programs.

When using a MacBook Pro M3, the USB-C to USB-C is recognized as a 15W power supply.

If your MacBook does not have a USB-C port or requires more than 15W, you can purchase converters on Amazon. Example https://www.amazon.com/Foval-Power-I.../dp/B01KT26D68
