From personal experience, I don't think the HK in BMWs are generally as good as B&O in Audi.

Personally, I don't worry too much, as music in the car is always compromised anyway.

The one thing I really miss in the wife's X1 is Internet radio. I have it native in my Taycan and it's all I ever listen to. Surprised it's not included with the BMW nowadays without using ACP / AA.

Agreed - HK in a BMW is close to Bose than the B&O in Audi. Unfortunately the B&W in BMW's they only seem to offer in higher models unfortunately.

HK is ok not outstanding.

I didn’t rate the B&O setup in the previous 2 Audi’s I’ve had as highly as the previous Bose systems I’d had in the previous 3 other Audi’s I’ve had (I’ve always been an Audi man if you’ve not guessed haha).

The B&O was good once a tweaked, I’m hoping the same happens with the HK.

The Bose systems and I’m talking 10 year ago, was very good.

Yeah, at the moment I tend to agree, that said it’s 100 times better than the standard setup in my Mrs 1 series, that is terrible.

Hi, is your navi talking? Is your voice commands over navi + voice assistant working? I have one month old X1 with many pakets, but my Navi not working ... and nobody from BMW helped me yet.

The sat nav works fine and talks.

I don’t use voice commands and haven’t a clue how to do it if I’m honest.

A little update regarding the grille, it looks like I’m having to go 50-50, therefore it’s costing me £350 notes to have it supplied and fitted.

OP
Any chance you could do a sort of mini review, also answering your original post, now you've got the car?

It may be really useful for any other perspective owners who have the same concerns.

Yes of course I can, only had it a week and not driven it that much to be honest, once I’ve had a couple of long journeys for business I’ll be better placed to do one.
