Question Specific Pricing / Financing Rates?

Are we allowed to post a specific price we negotiated with a dealership and the corresponding finance rate we got in order for others to weigh in on whether it is a good deal or not? I don't want to run afoul of any rules on this forum. Thanks!

Would be interested in knowing current deals on x1, especially in SC.

Here's what I'm getting: 2024 BMW X1 M35i with Black exterior and interior, Shadowline package, Premium package, remote engine start, heated front seats and steering wheel, and a few other small things that were part of the sticker price (luggage mat, wheel locks, all weather floor mats, and first aid kit). MSRP is $56,210 according to sticker, but I'll be paying $54,190 + fees + NJ taxes = $58,869.85. I'll be putting $20k down (to reduce monthly payment mostly) and then financing the rest at 5.49% over 60 months through BMW Financing. There were very few of these in my area (I think like maybe 8 or 9 at dealerships and then a few more in transit or production), so it didn't seem like I had a lot of negotiating leverage - but am definitely curious to hear what others think. Thanks!

It matters much more what you think. You drive the car not the deal. (1968bmw is who I am quoting) all deals are different. If you are happy with it that is all that truly matters. Every market is different. Have fun, enjoy your new ride. The m35 version will bring you lots if grins I hope, mine does 5 years latter

I ordered a 2024 X1 m35i last October. Dealer gave me 3% off MSRP. Car was delivered at the end of February and I was able to then use a $1500 military discount (available to family members - my dad's a veteran). I locked in a 4.99% rate for 60 months through Navy Federal.

Wow, where did you get 2.9% financing!? Was it for 60-months or a shorter time frame? And what do you mean about making 5.75% on cash? Thanks!

I'm curious as well.

I availed of a credit union offer of 3.99% in January for 30 months but 2.9% is better.

I have another credit union that offers a high yield savings account for 3% but if I can get 5.75% I'd be tempted to switch.

I financed for three years. 2.9% was briefly offered by BMW for cars in stock around Jan 1 I think.
At 2.9% investments earn more than the loan interest rate so it made sense to finance the car rather than gutting savings and retirement investments, I'm retired.

The BMW dealership I bought from beat my credit union's rates, so I financed directly through BMW for 4.99% on my 2023 X1. I put like $20k down, financed the rest for I think either 3 or 4 years (we will probably pay it off next year but I needed some breathing room in the cash department, as I'm paying for my daughter's wedding this year.)

I negotiated to what I thought was a good price: $39,495. I sold my prior vehicle directly to Carvana to get most of my down payment. I have most of the features I wanted (remote start). Wish I had looked on the lot a little harder for the upgraded stereo, but oh well. My key thing was I did NOT want a sunroof, bc I dislike them (well, also, I've had skin cancer, so I'd never use it).

I'm still not 100% happy with the vehicle, though it's pretty fun on the highway. Maybe I'll like it better if I upgrade the stereo and get snow tires next winter.

How long ago did you get 4.99% ?

And what sort of upgraded stereo is available? Is the Harman Kardon the upgraded stereo?

Here is an example iX1 Special Offer from one of the dealers in Bulgaria (EU). I guess you can translate it with Google Translate. Annual interest rate is just 2.49% for EVs. For non-EVs its usually 0.5% more.
https://bmw-bovacar.bg/offer/bmw-ix1-858-sega

Other brands usually offer financing from 4.2 - 6%, which makes a BMW quite a reasonable purchase. Especially considering that in the EV market here, iX1 is a much better car, which is cheaper or equal compared to VW iD4, Toyota BZ4X, Volvo c40 etc. and just a bit more expensive than a Renault Megane e-tech EV, which is incomparable.

I bought mid Nov 2023.

And yes. I didn't realize that there was a stereo below the HK. I thought the HK was standard for the model.

I was in a situation where I needed to replace a vehicle pretty quickly and it had to be a certain entry height bc of the disabled/elderly family member I take care of. We did most of our research online, then once we settled on a few models that would work for me, I looked up dealers in my area w the best deals. What I'm saying is that I did research on the X1 in general, but not as extensively as others who know exactly what accessory packages they wanted to order.

OP: OP: I recommend visiting https://forum.leasehackr.com/c/ask-the-hackrs/5 and posting all details of your deal. Even though the focus is on leasing, there are plenty of knowledgable folks there.
