what does it take to make my X1 M Sport look like the X1 M35i?

what does it take to make my X1 M Sport look like the X1 M35i? (besides the wheels and exterior mirrors)

...

UPDATE: Two hour ago, I did the next best thing.(probably very illogical and crazy as well) I was at my BMW dealer and placed an order for the 2024 X1 M35i. Although I bought my X1 from them in April, they knocked $1000 off for no reason. I did not say anything about the price, but the sales manager simply took off $1000 on the order sheet.

My original plan was to drive the X1 for a couple of year and wait for the new X3 to come out... then swap to the X3. My X1 currently has 2600 miles.

Feel free to call me nuts.

UPDATE 9/29
ok... so after 2 weeks, I finally kicked myself for making such a rash decision. What the heck was I thinking? I'm going to waste thousands of dollars by getting rid of perfectly near-new car? If my grandfather was still alive, he would slap me silly and then disown me.(which I would total deserve)

This morning, my relative and I went to the dealer and had the order transferred to his name. So it's his M35i now with an expected production date of the week of October 9.

I’ve ordered the 872M rims and the M35 front splitter. I tried ordering the mirrors but they’re not available yet(?)

You would also need the bigger brake calipers, the M Sport Pro spoiler, M lights shadowline, M seat belts, and if you want to go all out: the M compound brakes and the quad exhausts

Personally, I’m now just waiting for the front splitter to arrive and, once available, the M mirror caps. I’m not looking to make my iX1 look like the M35, I just love the more aggressive and sporty look that these parts give the car.

you need front under skirt, rear skirt, rear spoiler, 20" wheels, M sport calipers, and the m sport grill. They said something about different m specific side skirts but i can't see a difference.

The rear skirt won’t work on the non-M35 as they don’t have the exhausts.

I also don’t see any difference in the side skirts

since I first saw the official pics of the M35i, I couldn't get it out of my mind.

was having a late dinner with a bunch of my friends. for some reason, none of my friends are into cars.(which may explain why they all drive Volvos, Toyotas and Acuras) I started talking about what I thought about the M35i, compared to my relatively new X1. Since they were not into cars, they basically allowed me to talk while giving me a blank stare.... then one of them said "if you're so in love with it, get a room or just go order one!"

I also thought about the long ordeal that Kromans1 went through so he could have eucalyptus wood in his X1.

well.... the kind of pushed me over the edge and I did just that this morning. Woke up this morning around 5AM... let the house around 7AM. Drove the 3 hours to nearest BMW dealer. My salesman looked puzzled when I headed straight to his desk. 30 minutes later, my order was complete.

strange... I have never felt so happy after being called "nuts" by people.. which means I must have done something right.

My current X1 will probably go to a relative for free. (in exchange for cash)

It will pretty much look identical to my current X1. What I really want is the more powerful engine and beefier brakes.

Same color: Space Silver
Same interior: Alcantara Black
Same wood: Eucalyptus Wood
Same seat option: Active Front Seats with Lumbar Support

19" wheels (my current X1 M Sport has the standard 18" M wheels)

$50200 (which is only $2200 more than what I paid for my X1 in April)

I skipped all the other packages because after 4 months in my current X1, I almost never used for the stuff in Premium Package. I don't use HUD, interior camera, theft recorder... The panoramic sunroof was only opened once and the shades remained closed 99% of the time.

I think it’s a great decision, you would be for ever thinking what one would be like if you didn’t, did they give you a sense of how many months out it would be ?

They said beginning of December, so about 3 months. That's not bad at all, considering that I waited more than 5 months for my current X1.

I just hope that BMW doesn't change their minds and bring the iX1 to the US. Having driven the iX1 oversea for a couple of days, I think it's the car that I really want...

I'm gonna have to disagree. Bigger wheels never look better and always make the ride worse. There is simply no gain...

@SpaceSilverX1 3 months May turn into 4, but either way it’s not a long time to wait esp when you’re drivin a nice car anyway ……it’s just exciting for you.

@rocketman99….whatever…. beauty is in the eye of the beholder which I’m pleased about otherwise we would all be chasing the same woman, or man, depending on what’s your jam.

Not considered waiting for the X2? Suspect that will be coming over as a sport SUV coupe, maybe get one of those in early 24?
