engine fan question
I'm about 2100 miles into ownership and recently noticed with the cooler weather a fan runs after arriving home. Oddly, I would have thought this would occur after a drive in the hot weather, but I've never noticed it before.
But in the last two weeks colder weather has arrived in North Texas, I get home and the fan runs for a few minutes. Just wondering if this is normal (I assume it is) but realized I would regret not asking and finding out later it isn't... thanks in advance. |

Are you driving the car a bit harder/more sport mode in the cold? Does it happen every time or is this a one off? I tend to and that causes the fans to go. It may have happened in hot but you just didn't notice it. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.

that's totally possible I just never noticed, but I not sure why I would only when it's cold. I can't tell you if it follows a harder drive or not. I'll pay attention it. It only seemed odd to me for the obvious reason. thanks!
