I found it on the BMW press website, wanted to find something where it was actually announced.

Ok M belts were not available but : shadow line, black grills, black mirror caps, piano black on front bumper rear bumper on rear spoiler were all there. In the configurator i cant see anything new but the M sport brakes - which if they are only callipers i might get them if it brakes better |

I quite like the brighter grill and lights to lift the front end myself and so did the wife but can see why others want the all black look to go with or contrast colours. |

As for the red calipers, they are probably hardly noticeable for X1 owners who have the 20-inch BMW wheels because all the spokes will shield the red calipers. |

If that’s the only option that interests you, then you’d be better off getting them painted after delivery. The new brakes only come as part of the M Sport Pro package, which would cost a lot more than getting the brakes painted. Also, if you want the blue brakes, that’s an additional cost on top.

The packs in the UK are quite different to those in other countries and what you get a standard. Will be interesting to see what the updated config looks like and what the cost is. They might add some of it as default and other parts extra, you can never quite predict where BMW will go on that front.

My car was due to be built w/c 19th June. It won't be getting built on that date now if the new M Sport Pro Pack isn't available untill July. 🤔 |

Yeah it probably gets bundled agreed, that pack might take out the alloys and add other features for the same cost or something like that. For me in my head when one thing is black and something else chrome they rarely cost more to make if ever, it's just an excuse to charge extra for something.

I already ordered the M-Sport Pro pack. Perhaps these changes are coming with the MY24 build? Does anyone know when the switch from MY23 to 24 occurs?

Yeah they might just include some of them, but know BMW probably not but you never can tell. As for the model year not sure, the changes seem to be coming in for July built cars so maybe then but I'd say later in the year than that.

Another thing to note is that the release of the new X1 M35i is supposed to be sometime in July 2023, which coincides with these apparent base model changes.
The interior changes and shadowline additions are probably related to the M35i drop!

Update: I asked BMW about the new M Sport parts and whether they can be retrofitted onto existing X1 and iX1 Models, and this is what they replied:
