anyone else experiencing a a "clunk" like the gear/trans dropped when decelerating/coming to a stop? this happens to me alot.

where is the sound coming from? under the hood(engine or transmission?), below the rear floor(rear differential or whatever it's called?), or the brake pads/calipers?

I heard a somewhat loud but muffled "doink" or "thunk" when I came to a sleep during the first couple of months. It kind of sounded like the brakes biting too much into the discs. However, it has since gone away... fortunately.

sounds like transmission. clunks when downshifts to come to a stop. no one has this?

My current car is doing this ( hence is a Mercedes with similar DCT) so the clunk could be from the gearbox disengaging at a stop.
