20" aftermarket wheels

Finally I got my summer wheel mounted.
Very happy with the fitment. Very aggressive offset.
But at the same time comfy and nice to drive

Very nice set up, just wanna confirm if your set up is as follow? Also wonder if you’re setting flush with the fender not sticking out? Also how does it affect the range with wider tyres in the back?

20x 8.5 offset 40 front
20 x 9 offset 35 rear

Looks great! Really like the aggresive stance.
I would also like to know the full specs of your setup. I need to order wheels this week

Yes, that is correct. I bought 275/35-20 in the rear. But that was too wide. So ended up with 245/40-20 on all 4 corners.

All are flush, the rears are very aggressive. So maby 2-3mm higher ET would let wider tyres in the rear fit.

BTW, the M sport on IX1 sits approx 15-20mm lower than M sport on the petrol X1. So that gives the IX1 more camber and can fit wheels with a little lower ET.

Thank you BmwZ for your specs and pictures!
I finally ordered these wheels:
AEZ Leipzig Dark 9x20 ET43 all around.
The tyres are Continental EcoContact 6 245/40R20 with BMW “star” marking.
The older bigger BMW emblems fit perfectly
I’m very happy with the result and stance

The wheels look amazing. Congrats.

Did you get tire pressure monitoring sensors for the new wheels?

Thank you!
I got TPMS from the AEZ reseller that installed black TPMS which was really nice as BMW only has silver. The balancing weights are also black
I actually installed the floating emblems as well

owning an M35i myself, I can assure you, the wheel gap shown there is not actually how low the car sits.

The car itself sits higher than what is shown there.

Don’t be, Though fun to drive, there’s unfortunately too many issues I’ve had with the car already (still at service now) that I’m likely swapping out to a G20 xdrive.
