Apparently the 03/2024.37 update got installed by dealer during first service yesterday. It was the first time that I went to the dealer since purchasing my 2023 X1 (xdrive28i) 12 months ago. The X1 originally left the BMW factory in 03/2023.

I only noticed it because a lot of personal settings were reset, so I needed to change them to what I liked, one at a time. The dealer invoice shows it as a warranty item with no cost to me.

But what is new? I can't seem to tell any difference after driving it for almost 160 miles since yesterday.

I tried to look up "03/2024.37" but there wasn't really anything online about this latest update, other than that it was new. In fact, I don't see anything posted online about this update being installed on the X1 in the US just yet.


Update: I just discovered a couple of new functions in My BMW app. One new button sets off the panic alarm and another button open/close windows. (both weren't in My BMW app previously) Although I'm not sure it that's an update to the My BMW app or the car's own software?
