We still seem to be estimate for a May Wk18 build for the 25e, wondered who else was due to be around the same time. Apparently they are building some models in batches.

So would be interesting to see who else is waiting for the same time. Are they doing a flood of right hand drive cars and hybrids around that time I wonder?

My iX1 for UK is also scheduled for week 18

3 months and some weeks passed, havent even got a build week. While booking dealer told us it will be around May. Seems it won't be in May due to this long delay.

Ah another right had drive, are you still 111 order accepted estimated build? Not checked for a week or so myself nervously hoping the dates stays the same and I get a 112 in a months time.

Yep, contacted BMW chat with that 2 weeks ago, and they said it's 047 status. BMW has accepted the order, but awaiting build week.

Ah ok that's is a pre state to getting the order accepted then I think, so no actually build No. yet supplied back. Fingers crossed that happens soon and doesn't take too long. We only ordered early Feb but think the dealer must have had an allocation already they were able to use we got the order No. through in a few days.

112 is the next move for us I think but don't expect that for a while.

Same, 111 with Conf Prod Week showing as week 15. I'm hoping if that holds it will move to 112 by the end of the month.

I've just re-checked and it's still due first week of may 111 and subject to change. Definitely seems like around that time a few RHD are going through prod. Fingers crossed.

If anything changes for anyone post back.

Same here. Ordered at the beginning of January and still no build week. It was supposed to be week 9 but its already week 12.

I’ve seen a number of very new X1s locally here in Scotland in the last few days so looks like there is a batch that has been delivered.

My handover is scheduled for later this morning and I ordered 10th December ‘22 with an order form delivery date of 15th March.

When I ordered, the dealer advised they had two build slots, a week 8 one and a week 18 one. My car was later confirmed as week 18 (delivery June) but then in Feb the dealer called to advise I was now the week 8 one. Feels like they were building 20is all of a sudden instead of something else. During the change, something weird happened to the order and I have ended up with a free Harmon Kardon upgrade. Assume the car previously in this slot had this as an upgrade.

Totally weird but I’m grateful all the same.

Yeah you did well enjoy those sounds, hope you like the X1 its a good looking car and plenty big enough for everything these days. Felt larger inside than my X3 its like a Tardis.

Had a chat with BMW, they said it is supposed to go production this week. But my status is still 047. So was told to come check again next week.

And from April 2023 onwards UK builds will be coming with ID9. ( not sure if it's for every trim)

BMW confirmed ID9 from April? I'm still waiting on my dealership getting back to me on that!

That's what agent through chat(BMW UK website) told me.

I stopped contacting dealer as they couldn't confirm anything. So I usually contact BMW through chat and give them my order number.

ID9 seems to be limited to the petrol and diesels in April, when a PHEV might get it isn't clear yet. So depends what's been ordered.

BMW UK brochure site says ID9 and ID8 split for all cars now going forwards in the UK market.

I just spoke with BMW Chat and he said November for ID9, then when challenged said he didn't know was waiting for update. Suggested asking again end of month.

BMW internal messaging seems a little broken at times, I think the first we will know is when we see a car with ID9 that's on this forum or similar and someone reports back. April isn't far away for those waiting for a Petrol or Diesel in the UK.

My car was supposed to be build on 3 March but now the dealer said we will be very lucky if it is in April. Most probably build date in May or June. Its been like 4 months and still not building date thats so sad. Seems like 7-8 months waiting until the car is here.

Which engine and model did you went for?
I am in the same position waiting for 4 months with no build date, M Sport xdrive23i and ordered from Marshall Grimbsy dealer.
A guy I met in reddit who recently ordered, was told by the dealer that petrol models have a wait of 9 months now.
I had a chat with BMW agent and unfortunately they don't have an idea either.

He is getting 25e from the same dealer as me.
skyboum if you remember our conversation - March was really really lucky.

The good thing is you might get ID9 which is a great thing.
