BMW AG have accepted your order and allocated a build week as an estimate that is subject to change. When it moves to 112 it means that it's got a specific build week and all the parts etc. the car needs are allocated and I think the car gets assigned a VIN.

If you have a chat with the genius on the BMW website they will give you the week the car is estimated to be built.

That's not too bad considering how some are moving, even 112 status can go back and be subject to change but that seemed to happen more through the pandemic than recently.

Just a bit of a wait and you might get the car in early July fingers crossed. Not sure exactly when we will get ours probably early June. Oh and apparently it's VIN when it starts to get built when it it goes to 150 status.

My dealer did say it is looking like week 26 for delivery.
Again he did say that this is subject to change and not set in stone.
I am just hoping the shortage of 20" wheels doesn't effect my delivery date.

I used the web chat facility on the BMW UK website so the same as calling them but via a txt chat. Only takes a few minutes, basically I feed it the name, order No. and type and colour of the car and it gives you some waffle about how amazing the choice is and what the status is.

I Got some good updates today. My dealer emailed me this morning to confirm that there were no deletes, and all previous stop sale recalls have been remedied in this cycle. Providing there are no unforeseen issues I should have the car in Toronto by the end of May.

Just talked over the phone with BMW Genius. My car with 20 inch wheel is still scheduled for week 18, but it is also still at status 111. Hopefully, it will move to 112 soon.

No build spot for my car(30e) this month as well... I'm getting tired of hearing my dealer saying nice things like how it can get a quota at any time and bla bla. Oh yea but 4 months and still nothing.

4 months?! I’ve been waiting for 2 months for a build spot for my 30e and I’m already getting frustrated. I’ve know people who ordered after me and already got a build spot!

Considering a switch to the i4 35..same specs (excluding xDrive) and for 500 euro more.

Not sure what to do

Got confirmation today my iX1 left the factory yesterday and now is being shipped. Hoping end of month, early May collection happens and it doesn't get blocked by the airbag or rear seat belt issues!
