I’ve just returned from a 5 day break and found my car has updated to 03/2024.37

It reset a lot of my settings but one particular one I used was the auto activation of Panaramic view by GPS activation points, in Parking Assistant. I’d set a GPS waypoint for near my drive and it would enable - helpful for parking not too close to anything.

Post update the options are greyed out (interestingly window activation is still available)

I’ve tried resetting car (as the 3D remote didn’t work, but does now post reset. I’m fully logged in with my BMW ID. And the GPS option was enabled but is now greyed out. The message states only available with BMW ID.

Any one else had the same? And a solution.

Looking at the photos it is iD9, the home button is bottom centre.

I'm surprised that you got 03/2024 already. It seems that in Europe, it is 11/2023.73 that is being deployed by OTA. I just installed it today.

I have seen that 03/2024 had already been received via OTA for US owners though...

Yes iD9. I didn’t get any notification. I was away for 5 days and when I returned I noticed some small changes and decided to check the software and it showed as this. Previous was 2023 version.

I have 2024/03/30 in Europe, but not by OTA, in dealership they did it manually few days ago

Yes, the only ones I had seen until now in Europe were those installed at the dealership.

OTA seemed to only have occurred in the US so far.

Hopefully, it will be rolled out soon via OTA in Europe as well.

I had spoken to Connected Drive helpline as the Premium Subscription was showing as enabling for a few weeks. Could they have sent an OTA update specifically to my car?

I only just received 11/2023.73 yesterday...

by my first checks nothing big changed from 2023 version, i cant see any major difference between old 2023 version and this 2024 newest
