Any luck finding a Wii?

Soooo I figured 6 months or so later that you should be able to find a Wii pretty easily.

NOPE! There are still none of them in the stores. Is anyone else having trouble finding a Wii?

Got mine on launch day after camping out starting at like 2 or 4 in the morning at the mall. Reason? Best Buy already had a couple hundred people in line by that time. (Though I assume not for the Wii but mostly for the other deals.)

You just need to call everywhere daily and see what they've got/when they're getting more.

I got mine in March - finally. I didn't realize that they were still so scarce... Hang in there. They're a lot of fun, but I play use 360 a lot more.

I'm gettin a Wii in a few days. I ordered it will Call of Duty 3 and some other games. I loved CoD2...

hmm, strange...they're readily available here in toronto..you can pick them up from any electronics store...best buy, circuit city, walmart, k-mart, futureshop etc...

haha, you didnt like the controls? I love ps2 controls but I though the Wii might be more involving so I thought I'd be different and order it...

I dunno what you guys are talking about, my sister has ordered one from the internet easily. Got Wii Sport and Wii Play, damn, I love tennis, got all the way to 1942 already.

For me, the Wii was actually easier to get/find than the PS3.

If you're in the NYC area, the Nintendo store gets shipments almost every day. I got it like a week after the release date. I only waited 30min in the morning.

I also read somewhere that if you check the sunday papers and if the stores advertise the Wii than most likely they will have it in stock. I'm not too sure exactly which stores though.

I've already purchased about 6 or 7 of them for friends because the Targets in my area have them on Sunday mornings. They usually have about 25 or so when they are available.

I just went to the Costco in Carlsbad, CA, and saw about 40 of them. They are going for $324.99, which includes the base unit, an extra controller, and Super Paper Mario, which is a decent deal.

Target on Sunday mornings!

I bought like 10 the first day. Sold them all on ebay. I can't find any anymore. I'm going to try to and sell them on craig's list for $100 profit.

where I am wiis are harder to come by then ps3 and elite 360s. I walked into best buy a week ago and couldve bought about 20 of each. They had huge stands setup it was insane...for a second I actually was going to buy one...then i realized the price was going to come down soon...and yes I was right. Target is going to start selling them for 499 along with Circuit City which also includes like 5 Blue ray moves from Sony!

THEN i happened to be walking down Target isles when the lady yelled "WE JUST GOT 13 WIIs". i found myself running to the counter, and picked up one!!
just coz it's unavailable made me want it so bad! never even played it yet

Are you serious the Wii is everywhere. I think it is not worth it. Cant even play DVD's but then again I hardly play games.

Im waiting for the PS3 to get rumble again and then im picking one up.
