Got much rain this morning. Had to pump out the backyard. Happy to have the rain, though.

Yeah, we had 3 inches yesterday at my house down near the beach up here in Monterey Bay, and 4+ in the hills to our East. Prodigious downpour for hours, and 40 mph gusts to go with. French drain could not keep up and we had a small pond in the back yard for a little while. The windshield well on my X6 is full of redwood debris. And I mean full. Heard chainsaws over on the golf course yesterday afternoon, so I assume they lost at least parts of some trees. Hail last night, more showers today.

We received 3.4 inches since Saturday morning. Rained hard last night, along with high winds. Several trees down in the neighborhood, plus countless branches and leaves.

No damage in our yard, but lots of leaves and small branches on the ground. My new Rainbird with rain sensor properly shut itself down.

Rain sensor sounds nice, although it probably won't get much use because of the drought. I manually shut mine off when we're going to get rain. We're on outside water restrictions so only 3 times a week is allowed but in this weather only once or twice a week is needed.

I walk at night and see so many people water every night, raining or not raining. Unbelievable. Talk about wasting water. I hope their lawns rot!

Damp, 49, high wave warning. Last night was the most rain we got all weekend here, and still barely anything puddled.
A few more chances for rain today.

Winter weather watch in local mountains, but I haven't seen any white up there yet.

Cold next week. Snow in a few days. I am debating if I should clean my car after work today or wait it out.

Wash it in California. They need the rain that a freshly-washed car will surely attract.....

It dropped to an un-forecasted low of 7 F'ing degrees here overnight, or -14 Canadian for those in the civilized world who adopted standard measurements.....

A sunny 42F right now. High is forecasted to be 55. Nice and clear after the weekend's rain storm.

A little chilly but I'll take it.

37 when I got up this morning. If we still had a bimmer, snowflake would have been on.

52 and sunny at the beach.

I even wore a beanie to work today since under 40, my bald head gets tingly.

Was minus 7 Celsius this morning. No snow thankfully just very frosty
Tyres on the car are pretty useless with icey roads.
I miss a heated steering wheel too.

Yep, same here, though I hate our sometimes 100F+ summers.

Yeah, I hate heat (anything above 85F) and the sun as well. so:

When you are cold you can always put a another layer.

When you are hot and butt naked...
